Pretty good show. I got in there just at opening and made a quick sweep of the tables looking for reloading components. Not much to be found. I did get some .40 lead bullets and some .38 HBWC's. Only one guy had any quantity of primers and powder and was way overpriced. I found a new set of RCBS .357/.38 dies for $15. There were a lot of older S&W's and Colts. Mostly too rich for my wallet. I managed to sell an N-serial 28-2 for a couple hundred more than I payed two years ago. I normally don't sell guns, looking mainly to trade, but since I just picked up a nicer S-serial 28-2 a few weeks ago, it had become redundant. No one wanted to give me more than $600 in trade, but I managed to do quite a bit better than that in cash:)

I said hi to Jim King and the other guys at the SWCA table and I ran into Joe (pharmer) and Doc and said hi also.

The closest I came to buying was a 66-1 snubbie in pretty good shape. I had him talked down to $900 and might have gotten him lower if I had gone back, but I decided to hang on to the cash.

One highlight was a pair of ivory stocks I found that fit my 38 M&P. On the way home, I stopped by the Port Charlotte Two Guys gun show just to see if I could find anything interesting. I had seen several of the regular vendors up in Lakeland, so I wasn't expecting too much. I did manage to trade out two bricks of my LRP for LPP and SPP, so that made the side trip worthwhile.

Great seeing you Tom, last time was May 2020 during the pandemic. I was overjoyed at the 32-20 trade for .44 magnum ammo, we will put it to good use.

I sold the "problem chld" Zastava .223 b/a rifle (with full disclosure of the light strike problem) for almost double what I was looking for. Funny thing is I was in the middle of negotiations and the 2 'ol boys manning the table took off after a guy who previously sold them a stolen shotgun. Guy says: "Can you sit here and watch my table?" We did for maybe 20 minutes. He bought the rifle soon as he returned.

Once again there were more Lugers on display than in the WWI German army. I know exactly squat about them.

As far as S&W revolvers, adjustable sight K frames started at $900 and went up. A nice 10-5 was $550, that was good as it was going to get. That 3" model 66-4 was $1495, I remember seeing it when the show was at the Lakeland Center for $695, guess I should have bought it "early."

On the way back Doc and I stopped to shoot at "the Ranch." I sighted in a "new" AR, only took a box and a half ammo. Doc fixed his Beretta 21 that went full auto on last trip. Changed out a spring and hogged out a grip panel. Beretta offered to fix it but getting it to them was a nightmare that never resolved. I insisted we pack up early, the cattle kept wandering into the line of fire. Gunfire from 10mm and .223 didn't faze them a bit. If'n we killed one we'd be eating nothing but beef for a year, cows are 1000 lb and bulls (2) were larger.

Still the best show in Central Florida, making plans for January. See ya there. Joe
