Lame duck Seattle mayor at it again!

Not distracted by losing in a 3 way run off for a third term, the mayor of Seattle (AKA:Richard J. Daley Jr. of the west) has re-introduced his efforts to ban (legally carried) handguns once again in city parks. What a guy!

Second Amendment Foundation is already to file a lawsuit, as soon as Mayor McCheese signs his order. Plaintiffs lined up and ready to go.

Both the #1 and #2 winners in Seattle mayoral sweepstakes have announced their support for Nickels ban and have said they would continue it.

Nickels is a real piece of work. I suspect:

- it dawned on him that he will be out of a job soon

- he has no friends left in the area

- the O train from Seattle to the cushy DC jobs has left the station awhile ago and his old buddies Rice, Kerlikoski, and Locke are already living the high life in DC without him

This may be one last desperate attempt to garner him enough attention for consideration for some sort of DC or Mayoral commission job.

Is there a 'Gun Violence czar' already???

Wouldn't be the first hack being shown the door prospecting for his next gig? I wonder if he can get his kid a consulting job, once his kid gets off probation for fraud involving Indian casino's that is?
