Got home from the gun show this morning it was kind of chilly so I sat down to dlean my new Carbine magazines and turned on the TV.

Happened to find an old TV show named Laredo with Neville Brand, William Smith, Peter Brown and Phil Carey. Hadn't seen it since I was a kid in the 60's.

Lots of fist fights a few killings and card playing, they don't make them like that anymore.

Every friday night in 1967-68 I'd watch this line up. Green Hornet, Wild Wild West, T.H.E. Cat and Laredo. I was eleven or so. My hero was Robert Conrad as James West. He got to beat people up, shoot guys, and always got the girl. I have a scene on tape of Peter Brown doing a gun twirling routine from Laredo. Pretty good. We got about three channels back then and I played outside. Except Friday nights.

Laredo got a little stupid later when they got a 4th ranger. He wore a matching hat and coat that looked like the upholstery on my aunt's couch. Peter Brown's dad was Johnny Mack Brown. The dad was a better gun twirler than the son.
