My favorite S&W revolver configuration: a 3-1/2" 357. I just got this one, which dates from 1950. It came with the original stocks. But they have a nasty chip in them. Besides, for shooting, I much prefer the Coke cushioning (by Nils)!

I just love the big frame/short tube combination and yours is no exception. Very nice!

I find my s&w m58 in 41mag a pleasure to shoot with the 4" barrel. The balance to power ratio is spot on. I was thinking it was going to be a handful to shoot when I purchased it.

BigBill; I agree. the 58 is one of my favorite shooting irons. I haven't done bowling pins in a while, but oo-ee, it sure did a job on them.

Ah, Jerry, yet another one that got away! (Unfortunately, I can only afford to collect these things using a catch and release technique.) I do remember that nickel 357. In fact, I believe this is it:

Michael:

Thank you again for "releasing" it to me (along with several others) ! :)

You and Bruce are completely responsible for my ongoing addiction to older N-frames !

Best Regards,

Jerry
