I have bigger hands and am thinking of putting larger rubber grips on my model 60-7. Anyone do this or have recommendations?

The Uncle Mike’s Combat fingergrooved rubber stocks are good, out of production but the current S & W factory option is close. A bunch of other options.

I have struggled to find J frame grips that allow for good purchase with my big mitts, and a few have worked.

For carry, the Ergo Delta grip has been the solution for the last 4-5 years.

For target shooting, Pachmayr makes a rubber J frame Presentation grip that is roughly K-frame in size. It looks a bit odd on a snubby, but provides a great hold.

The smaller Pachmayr grips shouldn’t be overlooked, as the pinkie cutout is a very functional detail that allows for a wraparound grip.

Had a 60-7, came with Pachmayr Compac's. Turned out to be my all-time favorite grips. Migrated to my 60-9, where they work with 357's just fine.

This is about OK for my hand, glove size is 11

Just realized that Pachmayr makes the Gripper for J Frames.
Have favored the Grippers for a while on K and L Frames,
Never used them on J’s. They could be a good choice for a larger grip.
Here’s a set on a 686.

I am have a L/XL hand and just use standard magnas (without a grip adapter). Putting a huge grip on a .38 J-frame snub kinda defeats the purpose. Perhaps doing some hand flexibility exercises could improve your gripping abilities.

Uncle mikes stock rubber combat grips work pretty good and cover the back strap as well. I’ve got a set or two I could part with.
