Larry Seecamp passed away

This makes me sad. In a world of mega-mass production, lookalike products, and wretched customer service, Larry Seecamp pretty much stood on top of his own mountain.

It's just really sad to see these true craftsmen go. That's all I can think to say.

R.I.P.

From all accounts I've read he was a kind, considerate man. A true professional at his trade. May he rest in peace.

My son and I both carry Seecamp .32's.

Nice guns and a great man to be sure.

Just wish they had sights, I can't bring myself to own a gun without any sights at all. And don't feed me the "it'll get hung up in your pocket!" or other such nonsense as that. If that were true, few pocket guns would have sights, only Seecamps don't.

What a shame.

Rest in peace, Mr. Seecamp. I've enjoyed and carried one of your dandy little pistols for many years.

Picture is what I've been able to achieve with my L. W. Seecamp at seven yards.

Thank you. I was fortunate and that was a particularly good day with all shots slow fired with a lot of concentration. Staying within the 9 ring out to seven yards is no problem, but all within the 10 ring takes a bit more work.

RIP MR. Seecamp

The highest tribute that I can pay to Seecamp, is the fact that I trust one of their .32s for my protection, anytime that I drive away from my home. I've done so, since I bought it 25 years ago. It's been in my possession, concealed, while driving RVs, Automobiles, motorcycles, and scooters, all over, the USA, and Canada. In that time it has never discovered, or failed to fire properly. Try to match that record, with any other semi auto, of your choice, folks!

Very sorry to hear this. I had the pleasure of speaking with Larry many years ago on the phone, was a great guy. Yes, I have one of his fine guns. His Father was a master gunsmith and did a lot of great custom work.
Believe it or not, it was one of my suggestions that started a category on the Seecamp Forum;)

I forgot about his forum and I used to be a regular. Time for another visit.
