The last time that had a buy back in Phoenix the lane was cordoned off and no one was allowed to get out of their car. The reason for this was the only guns getting to the buy back point it the past buy backs were junkers as others were buying anything good for more then they were offering before they ever got there.

If this is the story I remember, the rifle doesn't work but the parts alone are worth a fortune and the police are trying to help her part it out.

Had a worn out 22 rifle that I tried to get rid of. No one even wanted it for parts. Took it to the Police Dept for disposal and they didn't want to take it. Told em I would just toss it out then they decided maybe they better take it. I would have loved a gun buy back and received a couple bucks for it. Not sure what kind of lawn art it would make. LOL

Here in Miami Florida this past Saturday, had a buy back for any firearm, and replace it with brand new in the box computer.

There is a Gun Buy Back in one of the towns near by on Sept 15th going to be a great way of getting rid of some of unserviceable parts that make up a gun that have been lying around the past decade
