Laser sighting

ok, Ive searched all over and can not find any laser sighting for the 4013TSW without rail. Does anyone make them? Can I modify any current system to work without issue?

Ive looked at grips, guide rod (costs more then the gun, but not made for the 4013) and rear sight unit.

I can see the grips being an issue as not many models used them, but why the heck doesnt anyone make the guide rod or the rear sight?

After looking further into Laser Lyte i read on their site: Compatible Firearms: The following 1911 pistols with Novak low mount sights: Springfield Armory, Sig Sauer, Colt, Les Baer, Ed Brown, Dan Wesson, Nighthawk and Charles Daly.

Granted I done have a 1911, but I do have Novak low mount sights.. So shouldnt this work??

Agreed, call 'em. I have seen sights for the S&W 1911's with Novaks that had a tag stating "not for 3rd Gen guns" (and vice versa) but don't know about these specific sights. After you call be sure and report back.

Well, I called them and they said that even tho I have the Novak low mount sight, S&W has a slightly different dove tail cut. So, the answer is NO it will not work... Unless someone is really skilled with a mill. I am not.

BUT! she said since the rear sight laser is so new, they are taking requests. I would imagine, the more requests, the quicker they will make them, and to keep checking the site as they will be listed under the New Products tab.

I've seen those rear sights on Glocks at Cabelas. They look cheap and not easy to use with that tiny button. JMO

Thanks for this info. Anyone else seen them in person?? your thoughts on them....

Theres a weapons show in mpls this weekend and Im hoping to see them in person.
