Obviously, I hope that they take Daley down hard. Daley and his alderman morons are living in another world, just like their counterparts in DC. Don

Thank you, sir, for providing us with that information. I'm wondering about how long it will take for this to be addressed and decided.

The 2d Amendment sure keeps the legal eagles on both sides busy. That said, the voters in Chicago must love their mayor. They keep electing him to lead them.

Anybody seen the list of handguns that Chicago has 'banned'? Some I have never heard of, not sure what their criteria is for them being "unsafe" other than they want to make it as expensive as they can for anyone to get their hands on a pistol. This crap takes self-defense right back out of the hands of the poor guy who is most likely to live where the crime is the worst and needs a pistol the most. It looks like the cheapest "approved'' handgun would be a Sigma or Taurus. Toss in the "registration fees" and the cost of the training that you can't get and everything else and poor old "Joe" has to come up with a grand or better in order to protect himself! I hope these suits push through fast, wonder if everyone who gets shot by a gansta could get together and sue the city for placing these new restrictions on their ability to protect themselves?

As long as “the people” keep voting in the candidates “endorsed” by the “Cook County Regular Democrat Party” they show that they are willing to tolerate this sort of thing. Rahm E or Valerie J, why not? Probably many others of similar opinions are available as well.
When the politicians sense a shift in support for self-defense the tunes of the politicians will change. Until then we will be watching this slowly wind it’s way through the court system
When these regulations are overturned, new ones will be written, probably are already written in fact.

Hope and Change?????
