Lee die question

I picked up a box of different brands of reloading equipment and I do not know what this particular piece is. The only markings on it are stamped in what looks like a decapper die. It says Lee-decapper but neither it or the box it came in says what caliber it is. It looks like it would work for a 44 mag but I don't know. Any ideas would help. Thanks

Lee makes a universal decapping die that just knocks out the primer but doesn't size the brass. I believe that is what you have there.

Thank you ageingstudent, I figured I should know what it is before I stick it on flea bay. All of my other reloading equipment comes in Green boxes so your reply is a big help.

All my Lee dies have the caliber stamped on them. I don't have the universal decapper but I have seen them and I think that is what that is. I made a universal decapper out of my drill press. I like to decap my brass before I clean it.

The other stuff is for priming in a single stage press....

RamPrime I think they call it, works well enough.

I pulled my Lee universal decapping die it looks identical to your photo.
Only thing stamped on it is LEE DECAPPER.
I think they retail for about $12. new.

Lee calls it the "Universal Decapper" as it can be used with any center-fire caliber up to .50 Action Express or .500 S&W.

It looks like you have:

1. Lee Universal decapping die - can be used to deprime just about any casings. Since it doesn't size, you can deprime dirty brass. I use this for all my decapping then wet tumble. Everything, primer pockets and all, come out sparkly new looking.

The other parts are the Lee ram prime to allow you to prime small and large primers.

The 'bullet' shaped item holds the ram prime (and primers) and the 'die' looking piece will hold the shell holder.
Pretty simple to use. I used one with my Lee hand press until I recently graduated to the Lee Classic Turret press.

The ram primer is a bit tedious, but gets the job done. I primed a lot of cases with mine before I bought a dedicated priming tool.

I still pull it out occasionally when I encounter a batch of cases with tight pockets-the press gives a LOT more leverage for priming than the typical hand priming tool.
