Does anyone know of a good left hand holster for a S&W 1911SC E series pistol. I'd like to carry IWB if possible but I don't know if that is going to work especially if I want to tuck my shirt. Otherwise suggest OWB for CC in the winter months. Thanks for your comments.

Any commander sized 1911 Left Handed holster will do the job. Most of my herd rides in Milt Sparks VM-2 or Kramer #3 IWB but I also use Don Hume, DeSantis, Gould & Goodrich, Bianchi etc.

All manufacturers make holsters for a 1911 however. Decide on what features you do or do not want, what material you like, etc. and then go from there.

I always try to get the highest quality holster I can afford. Make sure to use a sturdy belt with your holster and away you go. Many people use a belt that is not sturdy enough...if you can fold it in half vertically it is not up to the job.

his holsters are first rate and a fraction of the cost of the high end stuff and hardly any wait time. his website is on the forum post.

I would buy another holster but I got two guns at a gunsmith and likely going to be a PRETTY PENNY or TWO!

this is the rig he made for me, commander with shark trim
