Just bought an MP9 M2 Comp 4" Optic ready.

I saw a Caldwell included in their carry & range pack. But, I am left handed.

Any suggestions?
And is there some place I can try on a few?

What do you need a holster for ? Range or CC . If CC are you looking for a IWB or OWB holster . Appendix maybe if your a tall fit person as they m&p is not small !

Buying a holster can be far harder than picking a handgun for a need .

You may also find out most of us have a box with a several holsters that never made the cut long term . Might feel good short term but feel awful after a loaded handgun is in it and after a few days wear .

We have 3 tuckable Hybrid IWB holsters two are discontinued models 18+ years old and one that is maybe 4.5 years old MTAC and both are comfortable for me and I carry at a 3:00 position with ether a lw commander or full size m&p 40sw . I had to cut the kydex for an optic on both holsters as my wife has a M&P CORE in hers holster and I have a 4" 9mm compact I may carry one day but today mine just optic ready .

Today many hybrid IWB holster are optic ready like Comp-Tacs IWB models !! .

No doubt there will be a wait to get what you really want in a holster, but the wait may mean saving $$$ in the long run.

The M&P9 Compact is a nice pistol. I don't know if you're set on Kydex, so I want to mention that Don Hume and MTR Custom Leather offer some nice leather holsters for IWB or OWB carry.

MTR's Belt Slide Master Carry with optics cut is a fine holster according to my daughter.

Enjoy your new pistol. Oh, take a couple of minutes and introduce yourself at New Members Introduction in the General Topics section.

Oops, I forgot to mention the G-Code Phenom Stealth holster at Tactical Holsters might interest you along with many other options they have available.

Urban Carry. I am left handed and right brained. I use their stuff for just about everything. Very comfortable. I have a Metal with a Vortex Venom. Also use them for my CSX.

Thanks for the tips.

Looking for an external to be used at outdoor ranges.

(or the CCL class?).

Funny: I just read the article about personal Holster Boxes.

note: Kydex is new to me. I am used to leather.
