Leonhardt H.M. Gering

A rare 32 caliber pistol H.M. Gering made at the end of WWI for German soldiers....total production around 4000. They are closely related to the Behols, Menta, and (Strenda made after the war).The pistol and extra mag (fashioned from a Mauser mag.) fit the holster perfectly. To big for vest pocket pistols and too small for most German 32s. The pistol pictured is in excellent condition as is the marked holster.

Interesting gun.

You don't show it open, but do I interpret this correctly as a "split" slide where only the back part moves rearward to open the action for ejection skyward?

PS: Interesting that yours seems to lack the stamping on the left slide. Hermann Historica had one for sale several years ago with a serial about 1000 lower than yours with the "Leonhardt" stamp.

I have that same holster. It came with a .25 ACP pistol that looks like a Spanish copy of a Unique. It has no maker's marks.

A 25 cal. mag would be lost in this holster. I have the same looking holster but smaller, but for a German Schmeisser 6.35.
