Lets see your "Yes, I really do carry this every day"

Dwfan: Funny when someone doesn't read the thread and posts for all to see...

Very early pre heat treated fourth change. Silky smooth in single and double action. The gent who owned this before me knew his business. A six incher shortened to 3 7/8 and tight as a drum. It's accurate enough to shoot bowling pins at 25 yards skinny sights and all.:) I conjured up the stocks for it.

Nice looking piece here and I love the grips. Can you post a clearer, close up pic? Also, I am still learning the many S & W permutations... Which is this and what caliber? Thx. CB

Lol...all lovely...but, the Thread is supposed to be for those "S & W" Hand Ejector Revolvers of the 1896 - 1960 Time Period, which, some of us do Carry on a regular basis, so, that is the premis - to see some of these 'oldies' which are still being Carried in earnest.

In the 1980s I often carried an S&W HE 'M&P' Model of 1902, the 'pre-five-screw, four-screw'...and, if I can figure out where it is or where some images of it are, I will post s'mimges of it.

Oddly enough, when I now and then have night dreams of being in some sort of Gunfight, it is always that m1902 Revolver that I have with me, and, it has never let me down in any of those dreams, either.

Edit: Okay, I found an image of it. If it were not in Storage I'd definitely be carrying it off and on now also.

*Disclaimer: Was taken to task on another forum over this pic. "...nice photo, bad message."

It's a 1940s "mood" photo and certainly not intended to advocate the mixing of guns and booze. I think we're all responsible gun owning adults on this forum and can understand this.

I don't carry this everyday.
