How old are we on average as a forum; what generation is represented more or less on this forum?

Forgive me but we have 175+posts and over 5700 views on an still active existing tread on the very same topic....so could you explain why we would need another one?

Because this one is a poll and makes it easier to tally. Otherwise you have to go back to the old post with a pencil and paper and go through each of the 175 responses and list each one and then add them all up and make your own chart. This way is easier. Trust me on this one-I'm a lawyer

Again forgive me.....but to what end? What purpose would it serve? The existing tread has antidotes, puns and experiences but the only difference in this one would be the poll, I fail to see the need or relevance.

I for one would like to see the results, guess I'm bored or something;-)

I preferred to read each post and get a feel for the members of this forum, laughed a lot and learned a lot and even if I didn't take pencil to paper and calculate an exact number I still feel richer for the time it took.
Now If we really were interested in the hard numbers I venture a simple request to the administrators and/or the advertisers on this forum would yield a pretty fair age, generational and income demographic.

1954 to 1963: good years to have been born and later to have become a Smith and Wessoner, obviously!:D

Its my 55th high school reunion. (1958). The last one (only one) I went to was about in 1992. I think there was only about 7 or 8 of us! I dont think this one would be very encourageing!

I hope duppie dosn't mind...but this I think somes us up

Don't mind in the least and I wrote that as a proud member of that particular group mind you.....
In the scheme of things it's the stories, experiences and the gentle busting of Cojones that makes a tread valuable not a finite number on a poll IMHO....especially one that so much more to offer still.

Well then, you have a few options, since 22% of the posts here so far are yours and are of a complaining and negative nature: post in the other thread and keep it alive, or complain to the MODs or ADMIN demanding my thread be closed. Actually, there is one more option, you could stop posting in this thread.

Unless someone is pulling our leg, we have a centenarian among us. I would like to hear from him; he may have a RM registered to him!
