Curious if any CS-1 owners have bothered to request a Jinks letter for their guns; if so, did it tell you anything interesting, or just that it was shipped to a specific distributor?
Reason I ask is that I have a 3" frosted 686-1 on layaway with all the usual cs-1 indicators, minus the "cs-1" stamp. Obviously carried, and a good enough price where it doesn't matter if it's a "real" cs-1 or not.
I'd request the history, unless those who have already didn't get any info specifying US Govt use.
