Lettered my .44 Hand Ejector 4th Model

Finally got around to requesting a letter for my Model of 1950 Military. Very interesting in that it shipped to an individual rather than a distributor or dealer. Also states that it shipped with Target stocks? Has anyone else seen a factory shipped Military fixed sight gun ship with Target stocks? I guess maybe the individual ordered it this way. Anyway, let me know your thoughts on this…

[/PHP]Beautiful gun. I have one that I lucked into. Some 10 years ago I was with a gentleman that had one for sale. I did not know what I was looking at but instinctively knew it was special. I paid $700 for it. Brought it home and posted it on this site. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a deal. Mine is all original, serial #S95xxx. Still one of my prize possessions.

I THINK Cokes didn't appear until the introduction of the .44 Magnum in 1955. Somebody with more knowledge should be along soon.
