Back in October I purchased a new Leupold scope from Midway. At that time, they were offering a Skeletool and up to $150 rebate. The rebate required that you send them an old scope along with the required paperwok. I sent the paperwork in for the tool and found an old junk scope to send in for the rebate. I received the Skeletool fairly quickly but never received the rebate, so I went online to check and their website indicated that they had received the tool paperwork but there was no record of the rebate. I sent an e-mail inquiring about the status of my rebate and they quickly replied that they had no record of receiving it. They asked if I had filled out the paperwork and sent it in with the scope? I replied with a copy of the rebate form, receipt from Midway, and the tracking information showing they had received my package on October 26. I was expecting a fight, but a few days later I received an e-mail stating that my rebate was being processed. I have learned through the years the importance of keeping good records.
