I was using my Lewis Lead Remover on the cylinder of a post-war .32 HE and after cleaning out 2 chambers the brass mesh-wrapped tip got stuck in the chamber throat. It will not rotate or move, even with considerable force applied to the rod. I also tried tapping it with a brass hammer, but it won't budge.

I'd appreciate any suggestions. This is only the second time I've used this device, so I don't have much experience with it. The first time it worked smoothly and did a great job.

Unscrew the Tee handle from the tip and insert it in the other side of the chamber.
Then use the hammer to tap the tip back out.

When using the Lewis tool, always back the nut off for the first couple of passes, even in the chambers.

Also, you ARE using a .32 tip and not a .38 tip??
