Light/Laser

I just recently purchased an M&P9 and love it. I installed TruGlo TFO Yellow/Green sights and love them. I'm thinking about buying a light and/or laser. Does anyone have any recommendations on what's the best out there and and preferences between attaching a light, laser or both? Thanks for your help in advance

Finding a holster that will fit the pistol with the light/laser attached is next to impossible. I keep my 9FS bedside with a Streamlight TLR-1. My wife keeps her 9C with a TLR-3 bedside. We both keep Polytac led lights with them.

The Polytac is for searching and the TLR's are for sighting. Be careful about using too powerful a light inside. Glare off walls in the middle of the night can affect your night vision also.

I have a M&P FS 9mm bought new with the Crimson Trace LaserGrips #LG-660 (does not fit ambidextrious safety models, althought the right side safety could be cut off), and added the Crimson Trace LightGuard #LTG-760. Like them both on the gun. Both have master on-off switches and instinctive activation when they are turned on so you can still target with them either on or off and leave them on to be ready for defense use when nessesary. The holster I have found to fit this set up is a DeSantis Gunhide Speed Scabbard (RH) # 002BAX9ZO. There could others availible but not much.

I have also just bought the TrueGlow Tfo sights in green/green for my M&P FS 9mm but have yet to install them. Can't wait to try them out.

Viridian light/laser compact in size built in features for different strobes and power and w/the tach holster can up-grade those features..some say it runs through the single battery pretty fast but DANG! how much are they "really" using it.... for mine my battery is over a year old and still kicking nice and bright . I myself use a leather Galco to house my weapon and light
