With no taste of charcoal lighter. It uses newspaper.

You start your charcoal in this, then dump it in your grill. No funky oil taste. Costs $10+ ship.

As the others said, I have used one for many years. I can't stand the smell of lighter fluid. Get the heavy duty Weber and you will get several years out of it. They have all burnt through eventually. I find it makes great use of the sports page. If you put a bit of cooking oil on the paper it will burn longer.

I use one, but don't use newspaper. I tear off a piece of the charcoal bag, separate the layers and wad it up in there.
Don't know why, but it seems to burn longer, and get the coals going quicker than the newspaper. YMMV.

Seen one used in Vermont, worked great. The wife loves it. For $10 wish I'd a thought of it.

yup, oldtex got it.
you pay money for that?
the metal coffee can with beer can opener holes on the bottom works great.
i remove both ends from the can n light it in place. when the coals are ready i just lift the can away using pliers.

Take the paper towels you drain your bacon on and crumple them up and light them. 2 or 3 will start the fire fast. When I'm out of bacon grease p towels I pour a couple tablespoons cooking oil on them and light the fire. Hardly any paper ash this way.

The coffee can is an old Boy Scout trick. It works, but the ones my Weber with a handle are much easier to use and more efficient.
