With a little luck and a couple trades I was able to cobble up a
(imho) a nice old school rig.
Saw many and old time Detective when I was a rookie packin
similar rigs.
Model 19-3 ..1970 vintage.
Older S.D. Myers El Paso shuck.
Stags I snagged off the "bay".

Defines 'Old-School Cool'...and imminently practical. Super carving, mates with the stag stocks wonderfully.
Cheers

Hard to beat those Stags!! Adds character for sure. My old Puma Skinner with Sambar would be a good companion with that.

Beautiful! IMO that qualifies as a stealth barbecue gun. Do you have a matching belt?

VERY NICE! I love the old school stuff I started out with.

I have been known on occasion to carry my old 58 with stags and a Tyler T in an old El Paso Saddlery thumb break.

This thread makes we want to do it today!

Great “old school” detective rig set up! I added a set of Sambar Stag Magna grips to one of my snubbies and call it my old school detective set up. I don’t presently have any pictures of it paired with a holster, but definitely have a few possibilities.

All kinds of old school class!
I'm hoping someday to find a nice old holster carved and stitched by my former neighbor, Oliver Ball in Ft. Worth...I'm sure there is one somewhere to fit this old 1927 shipped M&P Target (later rebarreled to 2")...Maybe I could be looked on as one of the cool kids to... ...Ben
