Aggies (Texas A&M) vs TCU Horned Frogs in the NCAAB super-regional.

We live right next to Fort Worth.
The whole family are HUGE baseball fans.
A LOT of our friends are Horned Frog alums, including the parents of my son's BF, who are season ticket holders and often take my son to football games.
A couple friends work in the TCU AD
One is a professor.
My son has attended Schlossnagle's baseball camps, summer and winter, for the past 5 years.

My FIL, who lives with us, and whom my wife adores, is an A&M (and Army) retiree.
My wife is an Aggie who grew up in Bryan.

Which can only mean: GIG EM AGGIES!!!

Sorry son, happy wife, happily life, best learn it now:-)

Whoop, they just homered!

I'm a Tennessee Vols fan wife is Alabama "roll tide" girl. It gets violent in football season especially since my vols ain't done **** in a decade lol

My wife is a Redskins fan and I am a Bears fan. Fortunately they don't play each other very often and they are both too awful to meet in the postseason.

Be careful about using the term "my son's BF".

Unless your family is way more progressive than it appears, the expression has a different meaning than I think you intended.

Ok, I'm still up. Game tied 4 all, top of the 15th. Fans in attendance are sure getting their dime's worth.

Bottom of the 15th. Frogs are up. Battle of the bullpens. TCU had a 13 pitch at bat for a single. Caught stealing.

(Louisville lost in 11 on an attempted steal. That hurt.)

Top of 16th. Aggies up.

Bottom of 16th. Two outs, two on.

Heart breaker for the Aggies. Would have liked to see 5 SEC teams in the series but 4 ain't half bad. ;)
The only time I watch baseball is the college game and this is the absolute best time of the year for that!
LSU at Eauxmaha it don't get any better. (Sure hope we don't do the old"two and bar b que" like we did in 2013 :D)

For all the conflict and strife in the world, it's nice to have a little tension over event's which in the end will not result in the end of the world for anyone. Yes some folks can take it too far, but for the most part. Texas /A&M, Ol Miss./Miss. St., Michigan/OSU, Auburn/Bama, Kentucky/Louisville (just to name a few) provide a great deal of entertainment, some inspired trash talk, and darn good storys.

I say this from the perspective of a Michigan driver, pulled over in Ohio on a late November Saturday.... I very respectfully handed the officer all requested documents and my Michigan St. Univ. Alumni Assoc. card..... he returned my documents, told me to watch my speed, as he walked away I swear I heard the following "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"

We are also torn during baseball season. Daughter went to UT Austin but our great nephew plays for A&M baseball, (He is pretty good), so I find myself cheering (very quietly) for the Aggies at this time. It was a heart breaker of a game, but a tip of the hat to the TCU Frogs. Well played.

I live in Cleveland,Does anyone mind if I root for Their Teams?

At least your guys made it to the Super Regional. My guys didn't even make the playoffs. First time in 15 years.

(Louisville lost in 11 on an attempted steal. That hurt.)

Damn straight that hurt. I attended U. of L. for a couple of years, back around the time of the Lewis & Clark expedition.

But there have been some great, suspenseful games in the Super Regionals. I love college baseball almost as much as I do the Little League World Series. :)

I'm not much of an athletic supporter. So I just don't watch!
