The only 45JHP I could find was Hornady xtp 250gr. I bought them thinking I could get loading data from one of my manuals. None have any data.

Anybody have load data for 45 acp with 250gr xtp. I would like to use them in 1911s & 625s.

I have shot this weight of bullet in my 45ACP firearms. Both 1911 and M625.

I took a load for the 230gr XTP and extrapolated powder weight accordingly.

When doing that, you need to check the OAL of the bullet versus the length of the lighter bullet. This will help you ascertain how much more bullet is in the case versus the lighter bullet. Extrapolating data can be done with more intelligence with that information.

FWIW

For the M625, I would look at some .45 Super data and reduce from there, if you want to.

The M625 will easily handle .45 Super, since it's also one of the prime candidates for conversion to .460 Rowland, http://www.clarkcustomguns.com/rowland.htm which is even more powerful than a Super.

I normally use Super brass in my M625, but sometimes I just use normal ACP brass.
