Longmire

That is a great show - watched it before it went to Netflix. Hope they keep up the good job.
Thanks for reminder.

I hate to give the video gods anymore money!
I already pay too much for channels I don't watch.
And I'm still mad about losing RFD-TV on my cable.
But I do want to see Longmire.

Thank you for the heads up. We liked the show. It had actual dialog and no robot fights, so it was cancelled. :(
Need to find out if it will be Brandt or his dad that gets shot. Don't tell me! Going to need to do the Netflix thing now.

I liked Longmire before. I especially like the clipped, ironic, and wise, way "Standing bear" delivers his lines, and I hope the show retains it's "cut".

The books of Craig Johnson about Longmire have been good also. He gets "beat up" more than I prefer for my hero; but he does always win out in a good way in the end.

We have been with NetFlix almost from the beginning and enjoyed it with very few problems. Considering the way most service related things work in this world today I'd say it's been pretty good. But I'll also say that we like it a LOT better since we got a "smart" tv and can stream movies and tv shows and no longer have to hassle with the occasional disc that comes in scratched/broken. I don't know of any way better than NetFlix streaming to watch movies on home tv.

I expect I am as "anti-TV" as most, I did not turn mine on for nine years starting sometime in 1994. The technology went from analog to digital with out me knowing, (or caring) so a new set was required when I started to watch a limited number of shows again.

Probably would not have TV cable now, except by dragging up into the present world I had to have a service for computer, and Comcast in my area is cheapest and best so far.

I was gifted a "Roku" and first month of Netflix, and was hooked. At $7.99 a month it is a bargain, if you like movies at all.

I have noticed many of the $7 dvd items at stores are already on Netflix.

My wife has been binge watching the first three seasons for a couple of days and we just watched season 4 episode 1. It looks like they're keeping up the good production and really, it's even better than it was before because no commercials!

While I have heard about this show for a while, I just started the first season on Sunday. I am already halfway through season two and cannot wait for the new season , as I read that Netflix gave the show more independence than what the A&E network would allow. The show has been great fix since Justified ended last spring. Shows likes Longmire, as well as access to older shows and movies make Netflix worth the small monthly fee compared to Big Cable.

I'm anxious to know if and when Longmire and his curvaceous deputy will...

John

Watched season 4, episode 1 last night. Looked like Vic had that in mind in the opening minutes till events took over. Personally, I hope it doesn't happen. Keep it professional, Walt.

After watching episode one of the new season, we re-watched the end of last season's cliff-hanger just to refresh our memories. Then watched another new episode... It easily could have turned into a binge.

I've watched all the episodes in the first 3 seasons. After the "cliffhanger", and hearing the series was cancelled, I was upset until hearing that Netflix was going to carry it. I was also concerned that it might not be as good as the first 3 seasons. I'm happy to hear, so far, that the new season looks good. It's good to watch commercial free but, to be honest, I always recorded the episodes and skipped the commercials anyway. Great program.
