ok i'll try to describe this part i want.

On the forestock of a STOCK M&P15 rifle, there are 2 rows of holes, one row on top and one row on the bottom. Is there a way to attach a picatinny rail/strip to the bottom of the forestock, so I can attach a vertical grip/bipod to it?

I dont want to get a replacement forestock with rails on it. I got lots of parts piling up.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? if so what is the part called and who would stock it?

thanks

It is shaped to fit the stock handguards and mounts very securely.

Are those tapered to offset the angle of stock forends?

The ones I got are not, but they are only 4" long. One for the top and one for the bottom of the fore stock. gonna use them on the bottoms of both my M&P OR rifles.

HOLD THE PRESSES! THE ONES I HAVE ARE TAPERED TO COMPENSATE FOR THE FOREGRIP.
THEY ARE GOOD! TIME TO GO AND ASSEMBLE SOME PARTS.

I like the look of the round stock.

AWESOME!

Thank you very much!

Just ordered 2 rails, and a 5.11 vertical fore grip/bipod!

I got some just like that from WallyWorld. Aluminum, top and bottom rails. $17. Very secure, fit my Colt 6920 like a glove, it has what looks like the same front hand guard.
