I've got a Beretta 20 ga. 390 Youth Gun I'm giving to a friend for his son. He's a little guy and the 13 1/2" stock is too long.

I'm looking for a buttstock for a 390/391 to cut down for him so we can preserve the stock that's on it. It's a fair piece of walnut and the kid will grow into it eventually.

Cole's has complete sets, min. $250 or so for blems. The stocks we've found elsewhere (the bay, other dealers) have not worked out because of gauge, getting sniped. We're trying to get out reasonably cheap as this is a solution for a year or so until the boy grows into the factory stock.

Any help at all is appreciated.

Remember, it's for the children...

I did some looking on the internet, and I di not see what you are looking for in wood or synthetic. How much too long is the LOP? Can you change the recpil pad and pick up dome distance? I do not see where Boyds in South dakota lists Beretta stocks, but you might give them a call. Maybe the can make it, even though they do not catalog it. Good Luck

The pad is not thick enough to make enough difference.

I'll check out Boyd's.

Cole's has them but most are full sets.

I didn't think it'd be this hard to find one!
