Can anyone recommend a 9mm bore sighter that will FULLY chamber? Needs to be fairly economical as well. Thanks.

I don't think I've ever seen one for a pistol. I know they make them for rifles. Why would you need one?

Just start out at about 5 yards on paper and adjust your sights there. Move out to 10 yards and do it again. Then 15 yards.

If there is such a device, it's completely unnecessary. It may even be a hindrance for sighting in a handgun, unless it's something like a scoped Contender that will be used for extended ranges (beyond 100 yards).

Zero at 25 yards from the position you will use for the majority of your shooting, then shoot at different ranges to familiarize yourself with points of impact.

In chamber boresighters are a great way to do the initial alignment of Crimson Trace lasers and red dots.

And I should've stated...doing the initial CT laser alignment. But have read about some in-chamber sighters that are "too big" for the slide to go into battery

??

I must be reading your post wrong... but it sounds like you're thinking of using a laser bore sighter to sight in a Crimson Trace laser on a handgun? If so, just point the gun 20 feet down the hallway in your home and adjust the CT to point of aim. Done.

I have one of these, it works OK for rough zero (it will get you on paper) you still have to dial in the dot. mine is about 3" off at 15 yards. Sightmark Laser Bore Sight

If you're zeroing a Crimson Trace or other type red dot, they are pretty much on the paper out of the box because they reference off the gun. I use one because I'm zeroing a C More railway sight.
