I am new to this site, so I am unsure if this question has been asked and answered. I know the differences in the uppers of the 15 and the Sport, but are there any in the lowers?

Yes, the Sport has the integrated trigger guard, where it is part of the lower, and not interchangeable like others. It is enlarged, for shooting while wearing gloves, and is much like the profile of the Magpul winter trigger guard. I like it.

yeah i have the sport as well. i like the gaurd. i don't see a point in an interchangeable gaurd as the sport version appears to be perfect size for pretty much anyone.
