Luck of the draw

At the local gun show this past weekend I was helping my old high school buddy with his tables.

Fella stopped by with a blue S&W box. Of course we always ask "What ya got there?"

He pulls out a brand new M&P 9 Pro Series.... Bottom line is he wanted $500 for it. Said he shot 1 mag through it and hated it. Couldn't hit a barn if he was standing inside of it. Needed the money to buy a Glock..

Another vendor I have known for years sold me 4 brand new factory mags for $115 for it.

Shot it this afternoon...wow is all I can say. I will give a good workout at this Saturdays match.

I despise glock triggers to their very core and would still take a glock trigger over the M&P trigger. However, in the end I go S&W due to brand loyalty and put a trigger kit in it. :-D

You did very well. Nice looking pistol.
My guess is this would be about the top of the line for Combat Match Tupperware. I much prefer the grip on the M&P over a Glock, or XDm.
With the 4 extra magazines you are in pretty good shape to get it started. That should give you 6 or 7 I would think.
