Lucky 4th of July - Won a Rifle

Happy July 4th to all! Several months ago I bought a couple of raffle tickets from a friend who was selling them for a fund raiser for the VFW Shenandoah Valley Post 1499. I got a call from the post commander this afternoon telling me I had won.

The raffle was for a Savage 110 Engage Hunter XP rifle package which includes a Bushnell Engage 3-9 X 40 scope in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Looks like a pretty nice hunting rifle. (I am not a hunter!) Look forward to picking it up in a few days.

6.5 Creedmoor is a very accurate , had a savage too, gave it my son as he has more room to shoot it.
