M&P 10 Barrel?

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forum. Just bought my M&P10 and love it. My biggest question is this: Has anyone heard from S&W if they are going to make any thick profile/bull barrels available for the gun anytime soon? I know that their parts are proprietary so I was just wondering if they were going to expand their aftermarket selection for their customers? And also has anyone used Midwest Industries SS-Series rail on their gun yet?

By most reports the stock barrel is pretty darn accurate, capable of consistent sub MOA shooting with good ammo and shooter technique.

That being said if somebody could get a hold of S&W barrel extensions I don't see why they couldn't be fitted by a gunsmith to about any appropriate barrel.
