I apologize if there is already a thread for this, but I couldn't find it. I recently purchased a M&P 10 from someone who moved to my area from California. The rifle had a bullet button. It's not need in my part of the US, and I would like to remove it. Is this something I can do myself or so I need a gunsmith? If its something I can do myself, any suggestions on where to purchase the part? Thanks in advance!!

You can replace the bullet button yourself. Did you get the original parts? The factory M&P-10 mag release is ambidextrous

tacticool is right. The bullet button is stuuuuuuuuuuuuuupid. Almost as stupid as an anti gun Progressive Democrat........ie Diane "everyone is too stupid to conceal carry but me" Feinstein. She's as sharp as "a box of rocks".
