Has anyone ordered and received an M&P 10 MOE version from S&W? Not a base model then modified it yourself, but the MOE version direct from S&W. I am going on 9 weeks from order date and was wondering why all the M&P 10 base models are out there but no MOE versions yet. Getting a little frustrated and possible thinking of changing my order to another company all together if not delivered soon.

Back in the late 60's, my dad ordered a '67 Split window 427 stingray... waited and waited. Finally got fed up and canceled the order.....

He is now 64 years old, and STILL kicks himself in the *** for not waiting for it....

Just throwing it out there.

I would call up S&W & ask them if they have shipped yet. I have had great help every time I have called for any reason. FInd out the ship date for the rifles and if its a ways away just get one of the other rifles and put your own moe on it, its what I did.

For the price I paid and the price of the parts to convert the plain one, it's not worth it. Just the BUIS alone would cost more than the difference I paid for it.

Still waiting, and the weather is breaking, ***. Guess I'll take the old HOG for a ride instead. I think I would like to throw some lead though.

G&R Tactical has them in stock. I ordered one last week and picked it up last night. We just had 30 plus inches of snow so it may be a few days until they get the range plowed out so I can sight it in. I have Troy sights on my ARs so that was the deciding factor for me.

The rifle looks very good. The only thing I don't like is the screw on gas block. I would prefer it was pinned. The trigger is pretty good, no creep and a fairly light let off. Magazines are pretty spendy from the few folks who have them in stock.

I plan to scope it with a 1 to 6 but haven't decided which to buy.

You Have the MOE version or the base model and you will trick it out yourself?

It's the factory MOE version. It came with Troy front and rear folding sights. It has Magpul MOE stock, grip, and fore end. They were still in stock as of last night at G&R for $1,800.

The weather cleared up so I will sight in the irons tomorrow.

That's good to know, unfortunately Alaska is a little far for me to go for gun. You are the first person I know that was able to get one of the MOE version rifles. Hope that means mine is on the way.

Your father would have bad to wait a LONG time for a 1967 "Split Window," since only the 1963 model year had the "Split Window!"
