M&P 15 ??

just purchased a new M&P 15 but can't figure out the exact model besides M&P 15. when looking on the S&W website they have multiple models but I can't locate mine.

First off, welcome.

Your picture is really dark, but from my medium trained eye it looks like a Sport II. I can see the forward assist and dust cover, I can see it has the A2 front sight post but it looks like maybe someone replaced the stock handguard with a drop in quad rail. Definitely not a T or OR because of the A2 post, not an X because no M4 barrel profile and not a Magpul MOE.....so that leaves Sport II?

Others opinions?

I agree with Kadonny... probably a Sport II, but very hard to tell from the picture. But I have to ask, how does one buy something like a firearm without knowing what it is that they are buying?
