M&P 22 assembly. Who got it wrong, me or TDCtactical?

I was watching a M&P 22 assembly video from TDCtactical and noticed a discrepancy. At 24:06 he puts the slide sear disconnector pin spring in the removable sideplate and positions the spring on the opposite side of the pin than I did in my "how to" assembly post.

Which one of us needs to correct our information. I looked for a TDCtactical e-mail link but couldn't find anything other than Facebook & twitter, neither of which I use. I don't want to misinform anyone.

If someone will remove their side plate to confirm the spring position of a factory install, point me to another assembly source or point me to this company's website or this guy's e-mail address I'd appreciate it.

When I search for their site I only get YouTube page links and Google+. I don't see direct links to these guys and the Google+ site doesn't offer much contact information that I can find.
