Hi there, I have been in the market for a .22 compact but none of my local gun stores stock them. I know I can order it online but I'd rather not have to deal with a middle man plus transfer fees and a FFL. Also my closet FFL dealer is about 45 min away from me where I reside in AZ. My question for you all is anyone familiar with the Gun Show in Mesa AZ? I have never been but if they have the M&P .22 Compact I would much rather make a drive to that then order it online. Also I would like to see what deals they may have there on other items like ammo and such. Anywho there is one coming up towards the end of June that I'm thinking about checking out. However does anyone know (that's been to one in Mesa) if they usually have this firearm there? Thanks for the help in advance!

wow, WHERE do you live here? I would not bet on finding that model at that show. It's a very small show that you could see in a 1/2 hr, or thereabouts. If you did find one, it would likely be JUST one...The Crossroads show held at the fairgrounds in Phoenix is the largest show. Even then, I don't rightly think you could expect to find that gun. NEW Glocks and AR's abound, LOL.

OP, while the lowest price on the compact seems to be when PSA has it online; do you have any Cabelas or Bass Pro stores in your area? You may be able to order an item like that and have it shipped to their store if they dont have one coming in.

As someone mentioned PSA has them for $259.99.. The only thing you will have to pay is the FFL fee. I don't think you will find a price anywhere close to that at a gun show.

I would do the PSA deal, shipped it would be 276.99 + transfer. I think a gun show is a hit or miss proposition, if they even have it, how much do they want. If you're going to have to drive to Mesa anyway, I'd check PSA's FFL listings and find one as close to you as possible. I don't know about AZ fees, but even if they charged 50.00 you'd still be driving out at under 330.00. Just my 0.02.
