Brought one home the other day and got to finally shoot it. I must say, I am IMPRESSED. I love this gun. Not one issue with it on its first outing. Ate everything I fed it, was very accurate with it. S&W did a fine job on this pistol. My wife and daughter keep me busy finding .22lr ammo as they tear into it on the family range. They have been shooting SR22's thus far...well...that is coming to an end. My wife MUCH prefers the M&P22 compact over her SR22. Will keep one SR22 for my (8yr. old) daughter) to shoot. The small grip on it fits her a bit better . This gun seems much better made than the Ruger SR22, which by the way, I like and enjoyed shooting, but the M&P is hands down a better .22lr pistol in my mind. The trigger is head and shoulders better than the Ruger. Indeed...they made Fun, Funner.
