I personally would love a 22 pistol. My Mp15-22 is the most fun in the world, and I also recently got an MP15OR currently being modified as this is typed. I already have a 45 tactical and 40 subcompact, but my only other handgun is a 9 shot 22 revolver.

Is the M&P22 pistol ever getting approved. I know the 15-22 style pistol never was approved, but are the mp22 ever going to get on the CA list...?

12 round mag = assault weapon. Just imagine the carnage the extra two rounds of .22LR could produce.

The threaded barrel and 12 round mags are optional. A 10 round mag is available. I'm surprised it's not available in CA. Really, it's not on the list?

*SARCASM ON - When is California becoming S&W M&P22 legal...*SARCASM OFF*

:o

With your state laws the way they are, that particular gun is too dangerous to be allowed. Picatinny rail allows for bayonet.

I stand partially corrected, it does appear that smith is listing a CA compliant MP22

Yay, something other than P22... I would get a GSG1911 but people are charging ridiculous prices

I'm still waiting for this and the Shield to be approved in Mass =(
