Has anyone seen any for sale? Not looking for the compact. Want to get 2 more of the full size models for my boys for Christmas. If I can’t find any I am probably going to go with PPQ 22’s.

I have no experience with the PPQ 22 but can tell you from my experience both owning and selling them, that the Walther P22 is notoriously finicky with ammo. (We get allot of complaints/returns at the shop.) Basically, if you can run ANYTHING but the factory recommended CCI Mini Mag, your doing good. Hopefully they have cured that with the PPQ flavor.
Do your research prior to buying yourself into a corner. ( Kids can eat ALLOT of ammo and Mini mAg can be both hard to find and expensive in comparison.)
As an alternative, the like designed Ruger SR 22's run on almost anything.
p.s Nice gifts!

I get my boys guns every year for Christmas. I’ve read the ppq 22 is nearly identical in workings to the M&P. I also have like 15 or so mags for the full size M&P 22 so is like to find 2 more of them so I’m not buying more mags. I should have bought them when PSA had them for $250 but I passed it up. What was I thinking... doh

For what it's worth, I bought the M&P full size 22 at the end of last year. With the exception of a brick of "Montgomery Ward" ammo I inherited from my dad (that won't run in any gun I own), I haven't had significant problems with a variety of ammo.

Yeah I’ve had mine since it’s release. Probably close to 10,000 rounds through it. Shoots great, shooting suppressed it shoots great until it gets dirty. When freshly cleaned it will even cycle cci quiet

If you can't get the M&P22 go with the Ruger SR22. They are the 2 best .22 cal. pistols out there.

I found a shop with a pair of the PPQ 22. It’s another full size trainer. Mags are also very similar. May even be able to adapt some m@p mags to fit it. Either way I think the kids will be happy
