Anybody? Is it possible?
Yes; it takes about 10 minutes. Without changing the geometry, clean up the burr on the sear contact point on the hammer with an Arkansas stone and put a tiny dab of aluminum anti-seize on the contact surface.
It dropped the trigger pull on mine from 6 pounds to 3.5 pounds.
Thanks. I'll look into it. Is the disassembly difficult? What about reducing travel?
Call me old fashioned, but the idea of a beginner stoning a sear contact face without a jig to keep the angle just right gives me the hives. Not that some experienced people can't do it, but why take the chance first time out?
Reducing the contact angle dramatically lowers trigger pull--sometimes all the way to zero.
Would you mind taking a pic of it? I want to make sure I polish the right thing.
Super much thanks

If your asking this question then you shouldn't do a thing! To much info is a bad thing sometimes. The M&P .22 has a fine trigger from the factory and will get better with 2000 rounds or so.. You could harm it more than help it and make it dangerous! George
