M&P 22LR pistol problem

Hi Guys,

Happy New year to one and all!

When I shoot my M&P 22LR with the dead air suppressor the slide will lock open even if I still have ammo on my mag.

Without suppressor its working fine.

Anybody having the same problem as me? Solution?

Approximately how many rounds do you have through the pistol?Maybe time for a new recoil spring. Thinking the added back pressure created by the use of the suppressor may be cycling the slide rearward hard enough to cause the slide stop to bounce and catch the returning slide. Perhaps time for a really good deep cleaning of the pistol AND the magazines. From experience, I can tell you I get a lot of fouling blown into the action and magazines when I use my suppressor on my M&P 22 Compact.

I shot approx 500 rounds through it. I did clean out the fouling.
