Does anyone have a S&W M&P in .357 SIG? How do like it and is it a compact?

Yes, It is my EDC. It is a great all around weapon and really packs a punch.

I have read good things about them, problem is can not find any for sale??

I am looking also. I'll probably get a 40 and then a 357Sig barrel.

I got a M&P 40c instead of a Shield largely because I want the option of getting a 357 SIG barrel for it one day. The 10-round magazine and option of 15 rounds does not hurt, either. It is a little thick, though, and I find myself looking at 380 Bodyguards....

There are some police turn-in M&P 357 SIG full-size pistols on gunbroker for $299. Still has some left. I look at them everyday, and will probably hate myself for not getting one. 15 rounds of 357 SIG would be pretty good, but old police guns can be pretty beaten up sometimes.

I have three at the moment, the oldest one is in the middle

Yes, I was thinking the same thing getting a M&P Compact in 40 and getting a 357 Sig barrel.

Just saw a 357 SIG M&P compact on gunbroker. So there is one out there for sale. I have been watching, and you don't see them often.

I have a M&P, M&Pc, and a SIG226 in 357 SIG. The 357 SIG is a fantastic performer with 125gr bullets. The M&Pc is a little flashy unless you reload for it. Unfortunately, right now this cartridge is considered boutique cartridge and is a reloading proposition, with very few exceptions. Search the thread section to find out more about it.
