Recently bought 2 10-round magazines for my full size M&P40, i noticed that when being fired the last round in the magazine seems to jam while loading, is this normal for a new magazine? or does it need to be oiled and broken in some?

Thank for the help!

Not normal. If the gun worked with the other mags, it should work with the new ones. Still, it won't hurt to exercise them a little.

10 rounds mags for a full size? Am I missing something here? I have 10 rounds for my compact and 15 round for my full size. what am I missing here?

Ban/Restricted state I believe? The North East seems to get screwed over as far as laws go.

Still not a bad choice in 40 if you can only have 10 rounds. Plus the OP can always swap to 357sig.

What type of casings are on the ammo?
I have noticed that steel and aluminum casings will bind more than brass.

10-round magazines might be fine if you're shooting in competitions requiring you to change mags after every 5-shots, but I'd object to paying the same price as for a full-capacity one. You just aren't getting as much (or many) bang(s) for the buck.

Look where the poor guy lives (Baltimore, MD), a bastion of liberal stupidity.

OP, the M&P 40 should run 100%, even with your neutered mags.

I have 0 issues with any of my 10 round M&P 40 mags.
