Just bought a new m&p45 2.0c and need spare parts for it (springs, slide catch etc.) Anybody know what parts can interchange between the 9/40 and 45 variants if at all? I’m having a heck of a time finding every piece I need in one place.

Most websites that offer Parts tell you what parts are interchangeable with chances of finding one place that does it all may end up being Slim.
Good luck

The fellow in the video didn’t say things like the slide stop/catch were interchangeable between the 9/40 and 45. I’m trying to put a spare parts kit for my 2.0 and need pretty much everything.

What specific parts are you wondering about? From my armorer manual it says that the following parts is for the M&P45 only.

  • - Striker assembly
  • - Striker channel liner
  • - Recoil guide rod assembly, these are different from caliber
    to caliber.
  • - Locking block
  • - Trigger bar assembly
  • - Sear housing block
  • - Magazine catch
  • - Slide stop plunger
  • - Striker spring
  • - Striker
  • - Striker spring guide

Other than these parts, everything else should be interchangeable between calibers in the M&P M2.0 series.

Geez don’t know what to believe now. I was told other wise that the striker assembly’s are cross caliber for the 2.0. All I need is a list of all the parts (trs, striker prts, recoil spring, slide catch etc.) that I can put together to have on hand for my 45c 2.0. I’ve been at this for two months and am about to give up on trying to assemble a failure kit.
