Can someone tell me how long Smith & Wesson M&P 45's will be on Back Order?

Probably not even S&W could tell you. Shooting Times reported both S&W and Ruger have fully allocated their entire 2013 production of guns. So if the dealer does not already have it on order, they are not likely to get it. S&W sales for 2012, through the end of November, were 48% higher than 2011's sales. That does not count the month of December, where all saw record sales due to possible gun control law changes.
