Since I bought three Smith 10's this week I thought an example of the 40 series would be fun to include in the shooting collection.

Having also run out of funds, I traded a M&P45c for this 4006 which did include 12 mags, plus two shoulder rigs (one nylon, one leather), a blackhawk serpa, a pancake, a nylon holster and a few mag holders.

Don't know if it was a good deal, but figure M&P's are current production, and I do like the all metal guns!

Considering that you have what amounts to be at least 100 bucks in magazines along, plus the 4006... I'd say you came out ahead. In my opinion the 4006 is the superior gun, yeah I now they are heavier than an M&P, but in overall reliability and accuracy they are tops.

In fact, that can be said for just about all of the 3rd gen guns.

Nice snag... enjoy!!
