Is this a unicorn, or what would you recommend? RCS are in mid-product transition just now (have several 9c 1.0 Phantoms), and Bravo don't make a left hand model. Looking for a close fit concealed holster.

Pistol: M&P 9 2.0 full-size (4.5") no thumb safety
Optionally with milled slide and MRDS (RMR or DeltaPoint Pro)

CCW holster: Kydex, OWB, 1.5" belt-loops (not paddle etc), left-handed
Ideally with at least slide sweat shield (hot humid climate)

Also when worn at 9 o'clock (3 o'clock for the righties!) how are you preventing the new grip from scraping your skin without wearing another layer? Thanks.

They are out there man. Look at JM Custom Kydex, well worth the wait or see if you can get something from LAG tactical. Both make awesome CC holsters. I use the later and they only have a 2 week lead time.

I think JM Custom is making them now, they have it listed on their site. I have one ordered already. LAG does not have them on their site yet. I just spoke to them and they said they should be adding it in a few weeks.

Oh, and I emailed G-Code about making an INCOG Eclipse but they haven't wrote back to me. Maybe if a few of you guys also email them they will add something.

The compact will fit in the 2.0 4.25" holster with no issues. The is a little excess material in the barrel area at the end but it doesn't make a difference. I tried it on some at my LGS.

Just ordered from JM Custom, I have several of his holsters, always good.

Ordered both Dara and JM Custom

Thanks for all the suggestions. I couldn't decide between the Dara or JM Custom OWB2 so ordered both, and may sell one later.

I spent some time checking all the recommended holster manufacturers from a curated CCW OWB list (which included JM Custom). Since I specifically want an M&P 9 M2.0 4.25" (full size) OWB left-hand full Kydex (not half shell Kydex) holster with slide shield and red dot cut the resulting holster list was very short. As of October 2017 I found three companies listing holsters on their website meeting these criteria:

  • Dara Holsters - Custom Kydex RMR Cut OWB Holster
    • I ordered 1.5" single loop, 15 degree (FBI) cant, high ride
  • JM Custom Kydex - OWB1 and OWB2
    • I ordered OWB2 1.5" belt loops, 10 degree cant, high ride
  • Comp-Tac - Flatline Holster (M2.0 compatibility not specifically listed)
    • Customer support says 9mm/.40 is compatible with M2.0
    • Customer support says .45 is not compatible with M2.0

Two other holsters I found:

  • Huckleberry Tactical - Traditional Concealment OWB
  • Dale Fricke Holsters - Michael Red Dot Sight OWB (does not specifically list M2.0 compatibility)

check out Amazon.

I picked one for my glock 19 and it works perfect and the price was not that expensive. $20-30 range.

I think you'll be happy with the Dara.
I have a Dara Action Sport OWB holster for my Shield .45.
Went with single clip and 22.5 degrees cant, mid ride (recommended for the AS).
Holster rides close and tight. Single clip over is stable and can be taken off without removing belt.
A really great holster overall.
