After having trouble sighting in my GEN 1 M&P 9 with a Deltapoint Micro, I did some research on accuracy and decided to try an Apex “Drop in” barrel. It made a very significant difference. There is a good video on their site explaining what the problem is and how the Apex barrel solves it. On another note, Scott Folk at apex did a write up on the SD series of pistols and spoke highly of their accuracy. Of course, they sell a trigger/spring kit for them. I bought one and he was right. With their trigger it has a pull weight of 5lbs and rolls like a smooth revolver trigger. I like the SD for carry because it is a good size, 4" barrel with full size grip and a smooth slide. All shots were from a bench at 20 yards (laser rangefinder) using 125gr Hornady TAP bullets and Titegroup. The black bulls eyes are 3" in diameter.
