new to the forum here and first off let me say i love my m&p 9. it was love at first touch. the only down side is i cant find any mags for the gun and i feel like im wearing the 2 mags it came with out. i know they still have alot of life in them but its always good to have more mags. i know they make 2 different ones or they did atleast. to my understanding they use to make the 39340 mags and they quit making those and started making the 19440 mags. am i correct? does anyone know where i can get some 17rd mags for this gun though? i dont really care if the are oem or aftermarket. i just want some more mags and i dont really want to spend over 50 dollars a mag. any help will be greatly appericated.

If you don't want to spend more than $50 per magazine, you bought the wrong handgun. Good luck because nobody can find these magazines right now.

They are VERY SLOWLY coming back into the supply channel. One of the ones I had on order finally showed up a couple of weeks ago, at a price of $39.95.

lol i mean i would pay 50+ but i dont really want to. but im sure none of us would either. 50 dollars is just the limit according to the wife. a great man once said though "it is better to ask for forgiveness, than to ask for permission" :)

Who did you order them from?

Williams Gun Sight Co., in Davison, Michigan. Here. In addition to manufacturing several lines of sights, they have a full-service store, gun-smithing, and ranges. They're about a half-hour drive away from me.

This is where I've gotten my FS M&P9, Ruger Mark III Target, and M&P Shield 40. I'd simply asked to be put on their waiting list for magazines and the Shield. The magazines have been "trickling in", and I got the call on the Shield (@ $419) about a month after I put in the request. I'd figured they were a good place to put the Shield on order as they're one of the bigger S&W dealers in the area.(And the quoted price. ;) ) There were reportedly 70 of them in the shipment mine came in. I'm still waiting on one of the FS 9mm magazines I'd requested.

Go to Midway and get on their Notify Me list. When the mags are back in stock they will send you an email, but you need to be quick. They sell out fast.Smith & Wesson Mag S&W M&P 9mm Luger 17-Round Steel Blue

Yeah. Last week I was sitting at the computer when the notification text arrived on my phone about Ruger Mark III magazines, and about a minute later it also showed up in my email in-box. Within 6-minutes of the first notification I had two in my cart and tried to check out... only to find them gone already!
